King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima and their three daughters Princess Amalia, Princess Alexia, Princess Ariane and Princess Beatrix, Princess Mabel, Countess Luana and Countess Zaria attended Sail 2015 in Amsterdam and sailed along on their private ship The Green Dragon. The visit was a surprise along the crowded water ways.
First held in 1975, SAIL Amsterdam is held every five years to promote the Port of Amsterdam and the North Sea Canal Area and to inspire younger audiences “in regards to sailing at sea and inland”.
