Princess Beatrix Opens African Mask Exhibition

Princess Beatrix helped open a new exhibit “Magical Africa – Masks and Sculptures from the Ivory Coast” at Nieuwe Kerk church in Amsterdam. The exhibit which runs through February 2015 features colourful masks and tall stone sculptures from museums all over the world. The princess was welcomed with traditional African music and drumming and was given a guided tour.
