The British royal family attended the Order of the Garter Service at the St. George Chapel. The annual procession and service take place at Windsor Castle in June on the Monday of Royal Ascot week, known as Garter Day. Members of the royal family in attendance included Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh; Prince Charles; Prince William and Catherine, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge; Princess Anne; and Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones, Count and Countess of Wessex.
